The Neighborhood Development Company and NDC Real Estate Management are pleased to announce that Yes! Organic Market is nearing construction completion of their forthcoming 11,500 square foot retail store on the first floor of the Residences at Georgia Avenue. The Residences is an apartment building located at Georgia Avenue, NW and Taylor St, NW. Yes! Organic Market will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 3:00 PM. District of Columbia Mayor Adrian Fenty and Ward 4 Councilmember Muriel Bowser are invited guest speakers.
The Residences at Georgia Avenue project is part of The Neighborhood Development Company’s Georgia Avenue Revitalization Initiative. The new Yes! Organic Market will offer residents natural foods as part of a unique shopping and lifestyle experience. This will be the largest of the six locations for the DC-based grocer.
