The Neighborhood Development Company, LLC (NDC) has been awarded “Bundle 22” under DC Mayor Adrian Fenty’s Home Again Initiative.  The Home Again Initiative program’s function is to provide market rate and affordable homeownership opportunities through the disposition of vacant and under utilized land in the District.  As the selected developer, NDC will be leading the creation of housing on the awarded parcels.

The project will have a total of 19 condominium units and 10 parking spaces on 9 parcels located throughout the Petworth and Shaw neighborhoods of Washington, DC.   One site has an existing structure that will be renovated while the remaining sites are vacant lots.  Five of the nineteen units will be “affordable” units designated for buyers at 80% AMI.  The remaining fourteen units will be sold at market rates.  The new buildings will have masonry and stick built structures with a brick front elevation.  The interiors will incorporate high end finishes including wood flooring, granite countertops, stone features, upgraded trims and doors and stainless steel appliances.

NDC will develop the properties in two phases.  Phase I will consist of properties located at 1915 6th Street and 902-904 T Street, both in NW, while Phase II will consist of the remaining 7 parcels.
